Terms & Conditions

1. The District at SkyCity’s ‘Send Us Your Swing’ Competition is run by SkyCity Adelaide Pty Ltd trading as The District at SkyCity (ABN 72 082 362 061) (SkyCity Adelaide).
2. Participation in the Competition means acceptance of these terms and conditions and confirms acceptance to participate in any reasonable publicity or advertising that SkyCity Adelaide may request, including photographs and use of your image for promotional purposes.

 

Eligibility

3. Patrons must be 18 years or older to enter the Competition.

 

4. Employees of SkyCity Adelaide are not eligible to enter the Competition.

 

5. Entry into the Competition is only open to Australian residents who meet the eligibility criteria and submit a valid Entry during the Promotional Period (Eligible Entrant).

 

6. The Competition opens at 9:00am (ACDT/ACST) on Wednesday, 14 January 2026 and closes at 11:59pm (ACDT/ACST) on Monday, 9 February 2026 (Promotional Period).

 

7. To enter, Eligible Entrants must, during the Promotional Period access the following link: https://skycityadelaide.com.au/liv-golf/send-us-your-swing/ in order to:

 

1. complete the online entry form; and

 

1. upload a video of their gold swing in accordance with these terms and conditions (Entry).

 

8. Limit of one (1) Entry per person.
9. SkyCity Adelaide reserves the right to invalidate any Entry which it reasonably suspects contain false, misleading, incorrect or fraudulent information.

 

10. All costs incurred by way of entering or participating in the Competition are the sole responsibility of the entrant.

 

Entry and Video Requirements

10. Entries must be the original work of the Eligible Entrant (or the Eligible Entrant must have all rights/consents to submit the Entry).

 

11. Entries must be PG-rated and must not include offensive, unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory or unsafe content.

 

12. Entries must not include any person under 18 years of age and must not include third-party intellectual property (including music) unless the Eligible Entrant has permission to use it.

 

13. Entries must be filmed in a safe environment.

 

14. By submitting an Entry, Eligible Entrants grant SkyCity Adelaide a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, edit and publish the Entry for the purposes of administering and promoting the Competition and SkyCity Adelaide’s business.

 

Prizes & Judging Mechanic

15. This Competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the finalists or the winner.

 

16. SkyCity Adelaide will shortlist three (3) finalists from all valid Entries based on the single criterion: “Best golf swing” (as determined by SkyCity Adelaide in its sole discretion).

 

 

17. The shortlisted finalists’ videos will be shown at the SkyCity event at The District during LIV Golf Adelaide event week (Event), where Joaquin Niemann will review all three (3) finalist videos, provide tips, and select one (1) winner from the finalists based on the same criterion: “Best golf swing” (as determined by Joaquin Niemann).

 

18. The decisions of SkyCity Adelaide (shortlisting) and Joaquin Niemann (winner selection) are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

19. There will be one (1) winner.

 

20. The winner will receive two (2) Shark Shack passes to LIV Golf Adelaide 2026 for one (1) tournament day (Prize). Each Shark Shack pass has an estimated value of $1,000. The total prize pool value for the Competition is $2,000.

 

21. The Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash and is subject to LIV Golf Adelaide ticket terms, venue entry conditions, security requirements and capacity limits.

 

22. The winner will be announced on the day of the event in venue. The winner does not need to be present at the Event to win. SkyCity Adelaide will contact the winner using the details provided in the entry form.

 

23. Winners may be required to produce valid photo identification in order to verify their identity and age before the Prize is issued.

 

24. If the winner cannot be contacted (or does not respond) within two (2) business days of first contact, SkyCity Adelaide may award the Prize to an alternative entrant as determined by Joaquin Niemann at the Event (or, if that is not practicable, as determined by SkyCity Adelaide using the judging criterion).

 

If Joaquin Niemann is unavailable to judge at the Event for reasons beyond SkyCity Adelaide’s reasonable control, SkyCity Adelaide may appoint a substitute judge and/or provide an alternative prize/experience of equal or greater value, subject to applicable laws.

 

General Terms and Conditions

16. If for any reason any aspect of this Competition is not capable of running as planned, SkyCity Adelaide may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition (including any aspect of the Competition).

 

17. SkyCity Adelaide accepts no responsibility for tickets that are lost, stolen or damaged beyond legibility.
